I am a 25-year-old, adopted Korean-American photographer and designer, living in Orange County, California, with my parrot, Amilli. I have been designing and building products for the web since 1999, and became a full-time web designer for Mercury Insurance in 2007, where I remain employed.

In 2010 I founded JHTmedia to showcase and sell my photography work, but occasionally give my $0.02 on the photography industry. Due to a lack of subjects (and my reclusive personality), I started the Mad Manikin Project365 to take photos on a regular basis. But my passion is with motion pictures and creating video.

Along with photography and design, I’m interested in architecture, culinary arts, world history, and philosophy. I’m inspired by Joel and Ethan Coen, Chris Glass, Douglas MacArthur, René Magritte, Friedrich Nietzsche, Lawrence Krisna Parker, Norman Rockwell, and Bill Wadman, to name a few.

I also have a small collection of miniature things, drive a MINI Cooper S MC40, and exercise my Second Amendment Rights.
